Dear Brothers,
A greeting from the East and it is with honor and humility that I accept your faith in me as your Master for the ensuing year. Thank you to all the brothers that have either moved up a chair or have volunteered tofill a chair. last but not least, thank you Past Master Jim Hindman for your dedicated works tthis past year sitting in the East.
My brothers our ranks are dwindling. We must work to find new candidates for our great fraternity. This year I would like to see some growth. I know there are some good men out there. Look to oyur work place or some other organizations that you're a member of for potential candidates. In order to keep new candidates we must step forward and help them learn thhe rituals and also have more social events for their wives and families. One such event will be held on February 13, 2010 for Mardi Gras. Brother John Forker has taken on the task of cooordinating this event at my request. Thank you Brother John. We need your help to make this event successful. I look to you my brothers, for more ideas on how to find and keep candidates.
This year I want to support the Canton Food Bank with donations of non perishable food, in addition to our annual monetary donation. The need is greater than ever before. You will notice on event flyers and invitations a request to the public attendees for a donation.
If you have not beeen to lodge in a while please consider attending once or twice a month. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month until the end of June and then resume again in September. Call meor any brother if need a ride to attend a meeting. We need your input so that informed decisions can be made for the benefit of all. If you have not yeet donee so please send RWB Ben Isaacson your email address so that we can keep in touch with you.
